Welcome to the official blog of Brisbane’s only late night talk show, “Last Night Tonight with Daniel Smith”. “LNT” is the alternative to banal commercial television, candidly delivering innovative, edgy and brazen social commentary and topical comedy with a unique point of view. Coupled with inspired and informative interviews with local and international touring acts, news, media personalities and comedians; the show will also feature performances from some of Brisbane’s most current and promising independent bands.
“LNT” will do its part in preventing you from throwing your remote in disgust at the amount of “crap on TV”.
This blog is dedicated to giving viewers of “LNT” an inside look at the goings on behind the scenes of each show: the writing process, trouble booking guests, logistical nightmares and general nonsense that you miss out on when you only see the finished, polished product. Hey, it could be interesting to someone, so that’s why we’re here.
